For this class project my two classmates and I were tasked with creating a hotel. I was paired with an interior designer (Avery Powell) and a graphic designer (Lael Ebarb). For our hotel we had a “what if”. Ours was, “What if a hotel was a poppy?” Poppy’s are very popular in Greece and are known to induce a deep sleep. That is how we came upon the name Hypnos. Our logo has an Art Nuevo feel while also including poppy flowers to tie it all in. We created door signs, welcome cards, key cards, wall patterns, toiletry bottles, a Hypnos sign, and a cocktail menu.
